Flags of the world

This week I had a very exciting delivery - exciting for a peg-doll-painting geek, anyway.  A set of superfine and eye-wateringly expensive miniature paint brushes, all the way from Buffalo, NY.  I've been waiting a while for them so I couldn't wait to put them to good use - and this custom order was absolutely perfect for them.  

The request was for a set of four peg dolls featuring the flags of four different countries - Serbia, Montenegro, the UK and the US.  None of the flags are particularly simple in their design so I was nervous about how good a Job I'd be able to do.  But I'm pretty happy with them.  Especially the stripes on the US flag - all painted freehand.  The brushes are amazing!
